You are trying to build your network marketing business online.   You heard in a training that it’s about You, Inc., not the company.   Because, what happens if you change companies?  Or, worse, what happens if the company you are promoting goes out of business?

Well, this is why you need to have a personal blog page that is about promoting network marketing, health and wellness, skincare, oils or weightless.

You started your personal blog page but it looks like a kid created it.   So, how do you know what are the best things to have on that page that will attract prospects?

The purpose of having a blog is to attract prospects who will eventually buy from you, join your company, or purchase products.

You can only really get people to join your company or opt in to your lead page if you have the right wording that attracts them to want to connect with you.

In this post, I am going to address what are the right things on your blog to have that will make people want to work with you.  I learned this in an online training from Elite Marketing Pro, of which I am a member.

About Me
You need to have this as a pull down option.  People need to know that you are a real person and not a bot.   The “About Me” should tell a little bit about you and why you decided to join a network marketing company.

When describing yourself, you need to avoid the use of I.   There are ways to talk about yourself without using I.   The “About Me” is so that the lead can learn something about you.   They want to know your history and why you decided to get into network marketing.

It makes you more relatable.

Make Money
Having this as an option to click on your blog will turn people off.   Make Money sounds too much like a salesperson.  Of course, we know that people enter network marketing because they want to make money.   There really isn’t any other reason.

Instead of having a “Make Money” tab, it should say, “Connect with Me“. Connecting with a fellow networker or just someone who shares a similar interest sounds more relatable.

Once you connect with someone, then they can begin to know, like and trust you.   People purchase from someone that they know, like and trust.

You need to have a video introducing yourself and telling them the purpose of your blog.   On your blog, your initial video should just be introducing yourself.  You don’t need to have a sales video on the front page of your blog post.

This is important because having video in a marketing post, has shown to convert more than just a blog post.  So, post with a video, when possible.   People will want to connect with you
