As with building any network marketing business,  it is easier said than done to earn money online.  There are so many things out there to distract your potential prospect.

Also, none of this happens overnight.  In a recent critique of blogs of network marketers seeking to build that residual income from their network marketing business, Ray Higdon made the following comments on the blogs of some network marketers that were submitted for his expert critique:

Home Page
Your home page usually has an “About Me” section.  On this page, don’t have a button that says,  “Let’s Get Started Now”.  That is too salesy.  It should say,  “Click Here to Connect with Me.”
Remember being a successful network marketer is about making connections with potential prospects who will then either decide to purchase products to help them grow a business, purchase product from you network marketing company or maybe even join your business.

Remember it is only a very small percentage of individuals who will join your business.  But, if you can encourage them to purchase product from you then it is always a win-win situation.

Also, a potential prospect should have to inquire directly with you what network marketing company you are working with.  You don’t want to have that all over your site.   A prospect can easily look up the company name on Google© and find out negative feedback-there will always be some-and then not come back to your site.

Any videos that you post on your page should always be linked to an opt-in.  You always want to be giving your prospect the opportunity to consider buying.   If you don’t, you are missing out on a potential sale.  They will go and buy from someone else.  What you need to remember is that people coming to your site are looking to make a buying decision.

And, video has a better track record of converting prospects, when it comes time to make a buying decision.   Prospects wouldn’t be looking at your website, if they weren’t seriously searching for some options with their professional and financial future.
About Me Page
Even though this page is about you, you want it to be about the prospect.  If your entire page, is multiple uses of the word, I, you will turn off your prospect.  You can use this word sparingly.  You need to tell your prospect something about your work history.   But, the major focus should be on what type of value you will provide to a potential customer.
You always want to focus on a way to bring it back to the prospect.  See how you can make your actual story relate to their decision.   The more human-in a good way-that you appear to the potential prospect, the more they will begin to know, like and trust you and want to do business with you.
